Marloes De Nul is a versatile jazz vocalist, song and lyric writer with a deep passion for utilizing her voice, both musically and in representing students.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree (‘22) and Master’s degree (‘24) in Jazz from the Conservatorium Maastricht and is currently pursuing an accelerated degree to become a Music Teacher. With this, she is further expanding her pedagogical and didactic expertise.
With her band Loes+, Marloes creates electronic music with Flemish lyrics. Loes+ frequently performs in Maastricht and the surrounding areas. In 2024, the band won the “publieksprijs” during the Maastricht Jazz Awards, and in 2025, they will release their first EP.
In addition to her musical career, Marloes is also a dedicated student representative. During her jazz studies, she held roles such as head of the student council, member of the academic council, and contributed to the social safety policy of the Conservatorium. Moreover, she is a board member of the European Performing Arts Students’ Association, where she bridges the gap between students and policymakers on an international level.
